I’m an artist and photographer based in Melbourne, Australia.
Using traditional and digital techniques, I have created a series of images illustrating strange stories and distant environments. Inspired by 70s and 80s sci-fi art and using art history and Humanism as a reference, my illustrative art explores how human emotion interacts with high tech, futuristic possibilities. Using themes of solitude, mysticism, personal power, machine intelligence and a return to an altered nature, I try to express that the future is here and that we are just at the beginning of a long path into strangeness and incomprehensible change. As an artist and fine art photographer I’ve done a wide range of work including illustrated and environmental portraiture, architectural, industrial and landscape photography, pre-production and finishing services for film and print. Although I’m presently obsessed by digital painting and illustration :) I still offer an affordable art/design and photography service for local muso’s and performers on a budget.
